I did not know if you had any spare time,
but I just called wanting to wish "Happy New Year",
that was two hours ago, your silence is sublime,
sublime or not, I thought, between us things are clear:
Nine days ago I said that I'd call today,
to wish our son "Happy New Year", to wish to you,
you would co-operate, you said, "that is ok",
you even wished me "Merry Christmas", that was new!
I do not wish to sound petty or demanding,
I understand, you may be busy with your lunch,
but you could put him on the line, understanding,
that there's a need for him to know just as much.
I mean, his daddy cares about him and he's calling,
only you hardly ever let him to pass through,
you made me feel like in some forum I was trolling,
just think about it, and assure him, it's untrue.
