ΠΕΡΑ ΑΠ' ΤΟΥ "ΣΕΡΙΦΗ"
Στο μακρινό χωριό το Κουτσουνάρι,
στο κτήριο πιο πέρα απ' του "Σερίφη",
σταμάτησε μιά νύχτα ένα φεγγάρι,
και μού 'πε, τ' όνομά της ήταν Ίφφι.
Κι' εγώ που ξέρω κάτι από φεγγάρια,
της είπα πως μ' αρέσει τ' όνομά της,
και για να μη μπερδεύονται τ' αχνάρια,
κολλάω και σ' αυτήν τα ένσημά της.

Στο μακρινό χωριό, το Κουτσουνάρι,
με πλήγωσε και μένα ένα φεγγάρι,
που είχε έρθει πριν από την Ίφφι,
στο ίδιο κτήριο, πέρα απ' του "Σερίφη".
Γυρνώντας κάθε νύχτα στο χωριό της,
θωρώ παράθυρα μανταλωμένα,
φυσάει κάπου-κάπου ο Απηλιώτης,
και λέει τραγούδια πού 'ναι ξεχασμένα.

In the distant village of Koutsounari,
in the building further than "Sheriff's",
a moon stopped one night,
and told me that her name was Iffi.
And I, knowing something about moons,
I told her that I like her name,
and so that the footprints don’t get confused,
I validate her "national insurance" stamps.
