2 PLANT A LEMON TREE
Watching the summer going,
and feeling all alone,
nothing is more annoying,
than my old silent phone.
It could ring for a change,
it could have been your voice,
but you are out of range,
and I don’t have a choice.
Since I don’t have a choice,
I'll choose whatever comes,
I'll play with all my toys,
re-calculate my sums,
and let myself enjoy,
whatever's offered free,
I'll sack again the Troy,
and plant a lemon tree.
I like the taste bitter,
also the smell so sweet,
I'll be a human eater,
well, maybe some half-wit.
