THE DRIVE
A drive full of recollections,
to drive it through poetic sections,
to gather countless details,
but I can’t make heads or tails,
what’s really happening to me?
something that I could not foresee.
The spring has come, I feel the air,
I’ll do my thing and I don’t care,
of what I do and where it takes me,
of what they think or what it makes me,
oh babe, I wish I could forget,
I lost my heart in this fair bet,
oh babe, I wish I could forsake,
our life that was in the make,
oh babe, I’ll go against all odds,
and I’ll decipher all your codes,

and there is nothing I can do,
except get drunk and smoke hashish,

This drive, ghostly, sad, and eerie,

let's cross again this old dark ditch.
