My Easter time was so great!
It was not bad at any rate,
I met my friends in the big port,
music and drink our only sport,
we boarded strait in the top deck,
and I was feeling like a wreck,
out of the wind I took a seat,
then in due course we sailed for Crete.
We started strait our endless song,
of what is right and what is wrong,
what’s wrong with love, what’s wrong with life?
Right through my heart I felt your knife,
it’s only three days since you said,
that you take someone in your bed,
wish me a good time and I’ll try,
still got my wings, but I can’t fly.
Vassilis, Efi, Pipen, Max,
and Tassos say to me, “relax!"
When I feel like it, I can fly,
and take love easy by the by,
with my bouzouki, my guitar,
I love you as a distant star,
while singing softly, singing loud,
“I’ll always love you, Edeltroud!”
