Later on, doing some household dirty task,
exchanging views about this call with wise Eleni,
"I think she's split with Hans, what do you think?" I ask,
"Or maybe pregnant!" she replies, "like so many".

"In either case it's not my business, but I'm sad,
because I care about her and about my boy",
(it's latent lust, but still it's love, the dream we had,
I let myself go back in time and still enjoy).
