So, I'm a heathen and a worshiper of light,
my sword is love and it can kill as it can cure,
I could be right if I could change things to right,
'cause if I don’t, how of myself could I be sure?

The truth we'll never know,
and why should we care?
This is a christmas show,
is there a thought to spare?
Oh yes there is, that ancient light that was Greece,
that it was spread to East and West by mighty Rome,
s, still I wonder, what has happened, what is this,
why can't I be with all these festive lights at home?

The truth, I think I know,
and that is why I care,
not for this merchant's show,
but only for what's fair.

So, come ye, gods of old,
comfort me if I weep,
so, come ye, snow and cold,
awake me if I sleep.
Oh yes there is, that ancient light that was Greece,
that still can keep me to realities awake,
so what the hell is all this show, what dark is this?
It seems our very own existence is at stake.
